Other Lake Happenings
On Saturday, October 8th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. a Fall Market took place in the Community Hall/ Library. Seven vendors were on hand to showcase their creations. Unfortunately, attendance was lower than expected but lots of great brainstorming about 2023 marketplaces took place among the vendors! Here are a few of the vendors.

Line Dancing Anyone?
Line dancing classes, offered at the Kosh Lake Community Hall/Library (409 Peninsula Rd, behind the public beach in MacDonald Bay) on Thursdays at 9:30 am. by Lorraine Day are now over for the season. Hope to see you back next summer!
Kasshabog Lake held its first-ever dock sale on Saturday, August 6th. The lake was buzzing with activity. Over 12 participants sold items from their docks and at the public beach. Many offered typical garage sale items but others also sold furniture and larger ticket finds. Best part of the day? People meeting new people within the lake community! Next summer we plan to make thge event even better. We would welcome your feedback or ideas. Please send them along with any pictures or great stories from this year's event.
Unfortunately, the original Fanwort Workshop on Sunday, August 21st, had to be canceled due to the weather. We were able, however, to stage a last-minute make-up workshop on Sunday, August 28th in MacDonald Bay. Here is a report on the workshop with some tips on how to safely remove Fanwort. For more information check out the Fanwort write-up in the Invasive Species Section of this website.
The Summer Maker’s Market organized by Haley Bates and hosted by Stoney Point Marina on Saturday, August 27th was a fun day for all. The weather was beautiful and lots of people turned out to shop at the 9 vendors and pick up calendars or pay their dues at the association table. It was nice to have an event in the west end of the lake. Let’s do this again next year!
This past summer many residents enjoyed a gentle 1-hour Hatha-style yoga class each Sunday morning at 9:30 am at the Community Hall/Library with Shannon Thomlinson. The classes are now over, but hopefully, Shannon will be back next summer for more stretching and strengthening Yoga. In the meantime, Namaste 🙏🏻
