Summer 2023 Artisan Workhops

Line dancing classes returned to Kosh on Thursday, May 25th at the Kosh Lake Community Hall/Library (409 Peninsula Rd, behind the public beach in Macdonald Bay) Join us at 9:30 every Thursday for an hour for just $5 per participant. No line-dancing experience is required. Come out and have some fun while getting some exercise too!!! I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and perhaps some new ones as well!

Unfortunately, the  2023 Dock Sale that was to take place on Saturday, August 19th was cancelled due to low participant turnout! Just too many great activities already taking place this August I guess!

Textile artist, teacher at the Artisan Centre, and avid gardener, Penny Boyd created two interesting workshops for residents this summer. She donated her proceeds after expenses to LKRA environment projects. Thanks, Penny!!!

Wire Tree Workshop   - $25

Saturday June 17th, 10 - 1 @ library. One more space is available

Sunday, July 23rd, 10 - 1 @ Marina, spaces open.

Bring a fist-size or larger rock that sits on one side (needn't be completely flat), snub-nosed pliers, and work gloves. I will have some extras.

Recycled Rag Rug Workshop - $25

Sunday August 13th, 11 - 3ish @ library  Some spaces available

For this class, you need to bring a piece of sturdy cardboard approx 2' X 3'. You can also bring old sheets or fabric, but I will also have some there.

Summer 2023 YOGA

Last summer many residents enjoyed a gentle 1-hour Hatha-style yoga class each Sunday morning at 9:30 am at the Community Hall/Library with Shannon Thomlinson. The classes this summer will be held on an adhoc basis. Check the FB Kasshabog'er group for dates and times. Namaste 🙏🏻
