Line dancing classes has returned this summer to Kosh on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Kosh Lake Community Hall/Library (409 Peninsula Rd, behind the public beach in Macdonald Bay). The class is just an hour and $5 per participant. No line dancing experience is required. Come out and have some fun while getting some exercise too!!! We're looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and perhaps some new ones as well!
Watch The Kasshabog'er for more news on the classes.
Last summer, resident and art enthusiast Penny Boyd offered a unique Drop-in DIY Craft Activity on Saturday, July 20th, and Saturday, August 17th during library hours for $5. These kid-friendly, great upcycling projects incorporated buttons, ribbon, yarn, paper etc. All proceeds will be donated to the LKRA Environment Fund.
Textile artist, teacher at the Artisan Centre, and avid gardener, Penny Boyd created two interesting workshops for residents last summer and donated her proceeds after expenses to LKRA environment projects. Thanks, Penny!!!
This summer Parents and Grandparents Books & the Beach is happening on Thursdays, hosted by Joy Brickell. Come to the library (if no kids, then still come on your own) from 11 am to 1 pm, then walk over to the beach to meet like-minded cottagers.
The Kasshabog Lake Community Hall / Library has books, games, puzzles, and videos you can sign out. Watch for more information to follow.
