Clubs and Committees

There is a considerable amount of activity that takes place throughout the year in the areas of committees and activities. This area lists some of the clubs and groups you can become involved with on Lake Kasshabog.

Library Committee

This group keeps the Lake Kasshabog Community Hall and Library in running order. Each year they, along with other volunteers, open up and clean out the library/community hall, set up the library for summer use, maintain the water and other facitilities and organize the librarian and volunteers that make this resource available for us during the summer months.

Library Hours (July and August)

Thursdays 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Saturdays 10:00am to 1:00pm

Kids' Klub

Kosh Lake Kids Klub

The Kids Klub is a wonderful program that volunteers run in the summer months. Each Tuesday children are invited to attend at the Community Hall and join in a series of fun activities and events. Each week there is a different agenda which is normally published in the newsletter and at the Library. Each child is asked to contribute $1 and a bottle or can of juice during the summer to help ensure there aer supplies and a drink for all.

Volunteers to run and assist in these programs are always welcome. Parents are encouraged to stay with young children.

Regatta

Each year on the August long weekend the LKRA holds the annual regatta for the lake.  This event includes races and activities for all ages and is enjoyed each year by hundreds of cottagers.
